the flames

Yesterday we attended a Calgary Flames hockey game. Kurt's work has season tickets and the seats are right on ice level next to the away team bench. Though the view isn't always ideal (being so low, and with the players standing up) I really gained an appreciation for the speed at which the players moved and the amount of effort and emotion that went into the game.

My SIL Andrea and nephew Jackson were also at the game, so we were able to meet up there. Although we didn't win the game (3-2 Nashville) we had a great time!
